Ranthambore National Park is the prominent national park, located in Sawai Madhopur district. It is 170 Kms away from Jaipur and may take 3. 5 hours by road. The park is well known for its good population of tigers. It is enthralling to watch the tiger drinking water and living in its own natural habitat. Ranthambore National Park is the paradise for the wildlife enthusiast, photographer and traveller. Morning and Evening Jeep Safari can be experienced to explore. The jeep is 6 seater and open to capture the pictures easily, while the canter is 20 seater. The park is close everywhere between the months of July and September due to the Monsoon Season.
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and dropped at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. The sightseeing of Tiger is very common here but one may also spot some other wild animals- Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Nilgai, Chital, Sambar Deer, Striped Hyenas, Common Palm Civet, Desert Cats, Chinkara, Caracals, Macaques, Langurs, Jackals, Sloth Bears, Indian Wild Board, Black Bucks, Indian Chameleon, Monitor Lizard, Five Stripes Palm Squirrels etc. More and more Safaris are suggested to catch more animals. The park has also rich flora and dotted with old Banyan Trees and flowers of Dhak Trees. After enjoying the wildlife safari, you will be driven towards Jaipur and dropped at your hotel.
