Do’s and don’ts of Taj Mahal
Do’s
- All the visitors must cooperate in keeping the monument clean.
- It is advised to hire an approved tour guide and photographer who can be easily recognized by identity card.
- The taj museum in the complex remains open from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM, entry to the museum is free.
- Polluting vehicles are not allowed within the radius of 500 mts. Visitors are requested to park their vehicles at Shilpgram.
Don’ts
- Taking Drone Camera in Taj Mahal is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking and eating are prohibited inside Taj Mahal. Tobacco products, fire, smoking items, liquor, eatables (chips, toffee etc), electric goods, mobile charger, tripods, etc are prohibited.
- Keep your phone silent or switch off inside Taj Mahal.
- Photography in the main mausoleum is not allowed.
- Do not carry big bags and books in the complex.
- It is requested not to make noise inside the monument.
- The above-stated list of prohibited items with mobile phones and cameras are not allowed in night Taj Mahal tour. Extra batteries and video cameras are not allowed although the camera is permitted after the security check at the main entrance.
